Now it's understated lighthearted humor about people's twisted lives, and not morbid at all. This is a success. The first non-morbid anything I've written. It isn't even dark anymore. Now, the story revolves around the relationships surrounding Cynthia, but Cynthia herself is no longer a bitch. She's just another crazy. More as this developes.

End.

Modular Story Woes

Here I am writing a modular story. Or attempting to. It isn't going well. I've got ideas now, a plethora of them. But they aren't getting onto the paper. They're trapped upstairs, and I can't lure them out. That's a set of mixed metaphors, I know.

The theme is circus from hell. Not specifically, or anything, but in general feeling. There are a bunch of people (and a cat) who are connected through this woman. They're all crazy, in different ways. And they move through life in a hopeless fashion, unsure of themselves, and entirely unstable. I can only hope the humor gets through, since I'm shooting for morbidly lighthearted humor. The cast of characters and the humor is where I'm getting circus from, and the macabre despair they all feel is the hell part. See? Circus from hell.

More on this when it's written.

end.

First Post Gitters?

I think not! This is going to be a collection of ideas etc. that I am hashing out for use in my ongoing novel projects (yes, this is plural) and my short fiction. As the URL implies. I would like anyone reading this blog to please note that what I have here is personal property, and it belongs to me. If you use it without my permission, you are committing theft. I dislike people who steal. If you ask permission, I might or might not grant it, but I *will* be flattered that you asked. Copyright laws are in place here, folks. That, and just plain morality.
